Day 1

 In this assignment, I used prior knowledge in order to create a "watermark" for all of my projects using Adobe Photoshop CS3 and/or Adobe Illustrator CS3. I was expected to make the watermark represent myself however, it had to be catchy. My final product included my initials "T.R.C" with the three things that make my life what it is today. Those three things are volleyball (sports), a pencil, (writing), and headphones/boombox (music). The elements of art I used were shape and space. I used shape by creating the form of the letters in my initials, the pencil, the lines within the C to create the volleyball and the boombox and headphones. I used space in order to make sure things were balanced. The principles of design I used were balance and unity. I used balance in order to make sure my project was stable and to make sure all the parts were equal to each other.I also used unity by making the project work together in order to form a soild image.My sketch effectively represents my project very well because I specifically followed every step that had previously brainstormed on my project.
