In this assignment, I used typography to create a flamingo. I was expected to create a animal or object using typography in Adobe Illustrator. My final product included the structure and colors of a flamingo using the type "Zapfino". The elements of art I used were color and shape. In order to make the flamingo "noticable" I had to shape the type by rotating and adjusting the size to make flamingo appear. I also used color in order to give off the actual color of a flamingo. The principles of design I used were balance and unity. I used balance in order to make sure my project was stable. I also used unity by making the type work together and made sure the type didnt overpower another. My sketch represents my project very well because I followed every step that had previously brainstormed on my project.
