Still Photo Project

        In this assignment, I used Adobe Illustrator CS3 in order to create a still photo. I was expected to take a picture of a scene and create a object to put in that scene. My final product was three fire hydrants in a autumn red tree, hanging as if they were fruit. The elements of art I used were shape,color and harmony. I used shape by using the ellipse tool to create the round shape for the hydrant's body, screws, and knobs.I used color in order to blend and the red of the (created) fire hydrant to the photo. The principles of design I used were balance and rhythm. I used balance in order to make sure the fire hydrant didn't over power the picture in a negative way. I used rhythm in order to make sure the fire hydrants weren't just thrown on the picture but placed as if it was actually in the picture. My sketch effectively represented my project because I specifically outlined my sketch using the pen tool.
